Made from 6061-T6 aluminum. Nickel coated. Stronger than OEM plastic pre-load ring. Larger band clamping area, allowing screw to tighten to OEM torque spec without band bottoming. Adjustment holes in tabs allowing the use of a punch to assist when turning. Shock does not need to be disassembled to install.. Will not rotate while in use..
