The 12.5 mm slot can hold the damper rod while removing the rebound bolt at the bottom of the fork. A must have tool to remove the fork cap (cartridge) on dual chamber closed cartridge forks. Works on Honda (except '10 CRF250R) and Yamaha motorcycles.
